The 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee
The 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee is offered in six separate trim levels: Laredo, Altitude, Limited, Overland, Summit, and SRT.
The base Laredo gets you a USB port, 17-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, cruise control, an auxiliary audio jack, a CD player, full power accessories, keyless ignition and entry, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel that's leather wrapped, Bluetooth®* phone and audio connectivity, a six-speaker sound system, and a 5-inch touchscreen. The Security and Convenience Group provides a power liftgate, remote engine start, a 115-volthousehold-style power outlet, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. An optional 23E package gets you satellite radio, roof rails, and an eight-way power driver seat with four-way power lumbar.
The Altitude adds the same contents as the Laredo plus 20-inch gloss black wheels, black suede upholstery, and chrome exhaust outlets. It also gains the 23E package and Security and Convenience Group as standard.
The Limited receives heated rear seats, a nine-speaker premium audio system, chrome exterior trim, remote start, heated rear seats, a rearview camera, driver memory settings, 18-inch wheels, rear USB charging ports, an eight-way power passenger seat with four-way power lumbar, a cargo cover, an anti-theft system, leather seating, rear parking sensors, and the features offered with the 23E package and the Security and Convenience Group.
The Overland gains 20-inch wheels, power-folding mirrors, automatic wipers, a navigation system, a wood-trimmed steering wheel, a towing package, and a Luxury Group II package that adds xenon headlights, a panoramic sunroof, upgraded leather upholstery, automatic high beam control, and automatic wipers.
The Summit trim provides front parking sensors, 20-inch wheels, an acoustic windshield, illuminated door sills, active noise-cancelling technology, a 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and the Advanced Technology Group which adds forward collision warning, rear cross-path detection, blind-spot monitoring, and cruise control.
The top trim, the SRT, comes with a limited-slip rear differential, a panoramic sunroof, Brembo brakes, LED running lights, performance-tuned steering, leather and suede sport seats, a 19-speaker audio system, performance tires, and more.
When it comes to engine options for the Grand Cherokee, all trims except for the SRT come with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 290 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. The SRT gets you a 6.4-liter V8 that puts out 475 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. There's also a 5.7-liter V8 that delivers 360 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque that's optional for the Limited, Overland, and Summit trims.
